It doesn’t have to be a dog’s life: Pranita Balar

She learned a great deal on her corporate jobs. But Pranita wanted more and took up canine training and behaviour as a career. Barking up the wrong career

So, on an impulse, she took up a course in Canine Training & Behaviour. “Until the last day of the course, I had no idea I would be setting up a canine business,” Pranita says. “I had, of course, joined the course out of curiosity and to look for a change. After I did my first training session with a ‘real’ client is when it dawned on me: This is it! So, I quit my full-time job to start BarknBond.” She didn’t have a 3-year or 5-year plan when she started.
